Good friend John Koch from Spring Valley, Wisconsin down on the southern end of Musky Country got some much due attention recently by making the cover of Grays Sporting Journal with his woodcut image 'Sun, Moon, Stars'!

It's a likeness of me poling a Lucius River Boat up the Brule River and is one of my all time favorite pieces of art (being the Narcissist that I am).
John is also the proud dog-father of Stella – an English Setter that came from my best-friend K-9 and fishing side-kick Lucky Penny.
The only thing derogatory I can come up with about John is that is has yet to make his way up to Musky Country to Get Bit by one of our big toothys…maybe in 2010 we can coerce him over to the dark side…
